Tropic Isles

The view is AMAZING. WALK OUT AND RIGHT THERE IS THE BEACH. Now, the particulars: the condo could use some new furniture.....updated. The furniture is worn down. The place smelled like moth balls and it could also use a good cleaning. It wasn't dirty just not really clean. Not so fresh clean....I had to spray Lysol and Febreeze; along with purchasing blankets just to be careful. Everything else was cool but a remodeling is overdue for such a lovely place and location. I'm just saying 🤷

Stayed here a couple of times. Just got back from staying in Unit 505 this time. We had just an "ok" experience. This unit is outdated, very outdated. Popcorn ceilings with dirt from AC units on the popcorn, Vacasa managed this one and we had issues with ALL of the following with NO face to face response the entire stay. Microwave INOP, ceiling fans did now spin fast, dishwasher LOUD and did not clean, sheets were sandy (changed?), floors were barely mopped prior to our arrival, bath towels not big enough for even a toddler, refrigerator had NO SHELVES!!! The building is aging and it is starting to show. Still a decent place for the price.

This place is fantastic. The room is perfect for a couple or for a small family. You have an incredible view of the Gulf from your balcony. This room comes with everything you need including a kitchen with a stove, microwave, full fridge, dishwasher, Keriug, and a toaster. The living room is spacious and there are 2 TVs. The bedroom is smaller but comfy. There are two small bunk beds as well for any small children you may have. All in all it is a great room with a great view.

My wife and I and our youngest son stayed in unit 105 in April of 2019 and it was perfect. It’s on the first floor, but actually the second story of the building because the parking garage is ground level. That said, no worries about other guests parading past your windows. Also, only one flight of stairs meant never having to wait for the elevator. The condo was very clean and well kept. Kitchen and dining area were very convenient and had everything we needed as far as pots, pans, and utensils, all which were very clean and up to date. The master bedroom has a convenient walk-in closet, and a nice updated bathroom with huge tub and separate shower. The second bedroom has two queen beds with an average size full bath right across the hall - also very clean and updated. Good sized living room – the pull out sleeper sofa was a nice touch but we didn’t need it. Sliding doors led out to the balcony which faces the beach (and gulf). Location is within walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and evening watering holes. Kathy the owner was very pleasant and easy to work with. If we make it back to Gulf Shores again we will stay here.
